‘Sanjeevini’ Convent and St Mary’s Community Health Centre is located 250 feet south of St Mary’s Convent, H D Kote. It takes its origin from the seed for healing ministry sowed by Sr Beatrice D Silva in 1974 at H D Kote. The nature of work required a residence adjacent to the hospital for better health care. The new convent building was inaugurated on 15 July 2006. Sr Mary Mendonca as animator, Srs Placid Saldanha, Concepta Pinto, Jessilda D Souza, Hilda Rita Lobo and Gracy Andrade were the first members to reside in this new convent building. With the residence besides the hospital building, health apostolate was made convenient and easily accessible in times of casualities. The Sisters do not limit themselves to health care within the Hospital structure but organize regular outreach programmes and health camps. Social service also was carried out by two Sisters through Spoorti Centre.

Keeping with the charism of the Congregation faith formation, family prayers, parish activities are undertaken. The collaboration of UFLA members is taken for fruitful pastoral ministry.
