The Ursuline Franciscan Sisters of Mysore Province established their second house at Kithimani on June 16, 2013.  Srs Wilma Rego, Reshma D’Souza and Ranitha Claudiet were the pioneers at St. Angela Convent. Sisters are involved in education apostolate at Holy Spirit Academy and Holy Ghost Missionary Secondary School, Kithimani. Sr. Reshma D’Souza served as a nurse at Kalukuni dispensary.  Their Presence and service has made a great impact on people.

In the year 2016 a new batch of Sisters namely Srs Violet Pinto, Pramila D’Souza and Shanthi D’Souza arrived to Kenya to replace the pioneer Sisters.  Srs Violet Pinto and Shanthi D’Souza were placed at the Holy Spirit Academy and Sr. Pramila D’Souza was placed in Holy Ghost Secondary School, Kithimani.  Sr. Violet Pinto serves as a Head teacher in the parish school.

Sisters are actively involved in the given apostolate.  Every Sunday they conduct service in two different schools and attend mass at the out stations. They teach catechism in their respective schools. They catechize, prepare students for the reception of sacraments, in charge of associations, visit the sick, families and attend funeral services.
