The Ursuline Franciscan Congregation opens its portals to the Catholic girls and boys of goodwill who wish to form themselves unto the likeness of Jesus Christ after the example of St. Angela Merici and St. Francis of Assisi. They shall be called Ursuline Franciscan Blooms and they share in the Charism and Spirituality of the Congregation. Therefore they are trained to a life of faith, prayer and awareness of God’s Call; build leadership qualities and assimilate values. By this training they are better prepared to respond to the Gospel way of life and extend their service to the church, joining hands with Ursuline Franciscan Sisters in the fulfilment of the mission entrusted to the Congregation by the founder and pioneering members.

Catholic students, both boys and girls those who study in our institutions from class 6th to Pre University College are invited to be the members of Ursuline Franciscan Blooms. The students from 6th to P.U.C in Institutions where the Ursuline Franciscan sisters offer their service are also called to join Ursuline Franciscan Blooms under the animation of an Ursuline Franciscan Sister.

The Motto of the Ursuline Franciscan Blooms is ‘For the love of God’ and the Vision is ‘I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.’ (Jn 10:10) The Mission entrusted to Ursuline Franciscan Blooms movement is to ‘Empower Christian students towards fullness of life’.
