On 21st October 2022 a health education on cancer awareness was held at St. Mary’s Community Health Centre ,H.D.Kote Hospital campus. The Nursing assistants of 20th batch of students enlightened the gathering with an informative role play on various types of cancer and educated on the risk factors and preventive methods of cancer. Dr. Sr. Hilda Lobo MBBS, MD(OBG) the senior Gynecologist educated the gathering with her powerful speech. Around 200 people benefited from this health education. There was good interaction with the people. The Cancer awareness Health education and screening is the project that was put up as a part of sister Doctors Forum of India.
