On November 26 Shanthi High School celebrated the silver Jubilee of the school. Rev. Fr Dominic Vas, OCD Episcopal vicar for Religious Mysuru celebrated the thanksgiving Eucharist along with the Concelebrants.
Rev. Sr Lily Fernandes, Provincial Superior, Sr Philomena Noronha, Secretary of UFES, Sr Bindu Elizabeth, Deputy secretary of UFES, Sr Pushpa, the correspondence, Mr Revanna S, BEO Hunsur and Mr C Ravi, Police Inspector, Hunsur were the honoured guest of the celebration. As the Indian tradition goes with the arathi, we welcomed the guests and inaugurated the function by hoisting the balloons. The stage programme began by reciting the Preamble of the Constitution of India by the Students. We recognized the services that are rendered by the Headmistress’ by honoring them. The Souvenir ‘Shanthi Sowrabha’ was released to mark the occasion. Which was followed by a colourful cultural programme by the students. The whole village witness the festivity.
